Meet Christy.
Christy King is the founder and executive director of the Christopher King Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting safe driving habits among youth. Inspired by a personal tragedy, Christy established the foundation after her son, Christopher, lost his life in a car crash caused by a reckless driver. Determined to prevent similar tragedies, Christy has worked tirelessly to educate teens about the importance of buckling up and the dangers of distracted driving.
Christy is proud to partner with leading safe driving organizations such as Drive Safe Hampton Roads, Drive Smart Virginia, YOVASO, DMV, and the Conner Gweedo Memorial Foundation. Through collaborative efforts with these organizations, the Christopher King Foundation amplifies its impact and extends its reach in advocating for safer roads and responsible driving practices.
With a mission to save lives on the road, Christy leads the foundation's efforts in organizing educational programs, awareness campaigns, and community outreach initiatives. She is deeply committed to honoring the memory of her son, Christopher, and creating a safer future for all drivers.
Through her leadership and dedication, Christy continues to make a meaningful difference in promoting safe driving habits and advocating for positive change in road safety.
